Through this contracting firm, I have written, edited, and produced product documentation of all types, including material to government specifications (NCSC TNI, DoD TCSEC, USAF, MilSpec 2167 and 2167A, and CanMilSpec). I performed my tasks at the client site or on a contractor-provided system. If required, I assembled or worked as part of a team to produce the desired documentation.

Companies for which I produced hardware and software documents include:

- Cardiac Pacemaker, Inc (now Guidant): Software specification for the physician interface on the Ventak AV pacemaker, including the graphic user interface (GUI) usability review.
- Chen Systems: Editing and revising the installation manual for a multiprocessor LAN server.
- CIMCORP (now Swisslog Robotics): Installation, diagnostic, maintenance, and operation documents, including the GUI review, for the two largest gantry robots in the world. - Cray Research Inc. (now Cray Inc.): One of six writers creating the set of reference manuals for a Federal system security evaluation of the internal design of the Cray UNICOS Operating System. I determined and documented the security-significant system command processes and system calls and performed editor peer-reviews. This documentation met requirements of the Department of Defense Trusted Computer System Evaluation Criteria and National Security Center Trusted Network Interpretation.
- DataCard International: Wrote and illustrated service manuals, operator's guides, programmer's references, software installation and user guides, and on-line help files. Team resource regarding GUI design and usability issues. Many projects included providing segments of larger documentation sets.
